Her father, Skip Panettiere, described her as “an incredible light and a force of nature,” highlighting the love and joy she brought into the lives of those around her.

Panettiere’s career began in childhood, with appearances in commercials before she made her film debut as the voice of Dot in the animated movie A Bug’s Life. Her early filmography includes roles in Remember the Titans and Tiger Cruise. At 17, she gained international attention portraying Claire Bennet in the widely acclaimed TV series Heroes, which aired from 2006 to 2010, marking one of her most notable roles.

Following Heroes, Panettiere took on the character of Juliette Barnes, a country music star, in the television series Nashville. Her portrayal earned her two Golden Globe nominations, and her musical talents were recognized as several songs she performed for the series charted on Billboard’s country music list. In the realm of horror films, she portrayed Kirby Reed in Scream 4 and reprised the role in Scream VI in 2023.

Away from the screen, Panettiere faced personal challenges, which she openly discussed in recent years.
